"Be good to yourself, when nobody else will …" is the motto that I have learned to strive by. Everyone is looking out for number one — themselves. Period. It's a sad thing, truly, but it's human nature.

When life starts getting me down, or I have a particular run-in with someone, I'll sing this song; it comes to me automatically. So often I have related to this song.
